This is can be a common issue with some devices and apps. If your TV Guide, refereed to as EPG, is not showing or downloading, there could be a number of reasons why. We recommend trying the following:
- reduce your bouquets to only those that you need (http://iptvcanada.tv/update-bouquets-from-account/). The more streams you have enabled in your account, the more information and data the device and app has to download. This can be straining on most devices. Therefore if the device or app couldn’t download it correctly, it will usually be stuck in a failed state;
- clear the IPTVSmarters cache (http://iptvcanada.tv/buffering-playback-errors/). This is assuming you are using our recommended IPTVSmarters app*.
- restart the device, reopen IPTVSmarters and see if the EPG will download
If this does not work, and you are using an Amazon Firestick, you might need to look at getting the IPTVSMarters Premium account. This Premium account unlocks an EPG menu in the IPTVSmarters settings. In the EPG menu, it gives you the option to force refresh the data which will force it to re-download the EPG information. This will usually fix most of the EPG issues with Firestick.
*Note, IPTVSmarters is not our app, it is just one we recommend. Therefore if there are any fees or issues with the Premium Account, we (IPTVCanada) is not responsible and you will have to contact IPTVSmarters directly.
We hop this guide helps.
