Buffering & Playback Errors?

If you are using an app like IPTVSmarters, the most common reason for Buffering or Playback Errors is due to cache build up within the system. Clearing the cache usually fixes these issues. Here is a quick guide on how to clear the cache on Firestick.

STEP 1: Go to the Firestick Settings and click the Applications Tab.

STEP 2: Once inside the Applications Tab, click on Manage Installed Apps.

STEP 3: Find the IPTVSMarters Pro app from the list. In our example below, we are showing the Downloader App. But you can do this for any app you might be having issues with.

STEP 4: Once inside the app, click “Clear Cache” to clear the apps cache. You can see the size of the cache in the info to the right. Once cleared, the cache size should go to zero.

Once the cache is cleared, you can go back to the home screen and open IPTVSmarters app. This usually fixes those buffering and playback error issues within IPTVSmarters app.

If you want to go one step further and “reset” the IPTVSmartesr app, you can clear the data as well, as shown in the image below. Doing this will reset the app completely. So you will have to input your login details again and it will delete all your favourites you had setup. If you are experiencing major issues within IPTVSmarters, we usually recommend this method.

I hope you found this guide useful.
